Indy and Houston open the regular season against each other. Manning is sidelined through the preseason, but his team expects him to take the field for that game. What's your prediction for the outcome, and what's the likelihood that it will be an important game to look back on by season's end? In other words, do you think these are the two teams that will be at the top of the AFC South throughout the season and going into the playoffs?

My prediction:
Houston wins game 27-13
I don't think Indy will make the playoffs and I think Houston will win the AFC South.
Houston's main issue was their secondary which was mainly fixed by the addition of Johnathan Joseph.

The Colts have been steadily more vulnerable as the years go by... but the Texas have twiddled their thumbs at .500 for the entire Matt Schaub era.

I think that Manning will be off his game slightly, and the Texans will win, but they will not control their own destiny come week 16-17.

I think Manning is back for the opener, but not even close to 100%. I'll say Texans 24, Colts 21. Absolutely an important game. If Houston fixes that defense, they win the division. Indy loses on a dumb play by a young D. But if Manning somehow is doing extremely well by season opener, I think the Colts win.

Because Manning will be rusty he will struggle and the Texans will win 20-17. However the Manning will improve and the Colts will win the division at 11-5, while the Texans end up at 8-8.
